Urgent Fundraising – Nor Sara Washfa (Heart Disease)

Description
A two-month-old baby girl is in a critical condition, her body connected to tubes as she battles a severe congenital heart defect. She urgently needs surgery, but the overwhelming medical costs have left her parents helpless. They are now making an urgent plea to the public to help raise RM90,000 to save their daughter's life.
Seeing their baby girl covered in tubes breaks her parents' hearts. They have never held her properly, only hoping she can soon be free from respiratory support, recover, and grow up healthy like other children.
Nor Sara Washfa bt Ahmad Zaidi, a 2-month-old baby girl from Bagan Serai, Perak, has been unable to breathe on her own since birth, relying on oxygen support for two months. Due to her congenital heart defects, surgery is required to repair her heart, giving her a chance to be free from the breathing machine and live a healthy life.
Her parents, who are struggling financially, have done all they can, but now all they can do is stay by her side and pray for her recovery. Faced with the overwhelming RM90,000 surgery cost, they are forced to turn to the public for help, hoping that kind-hearted people will extend their support and help save their daughter.
【The parents drive one hour every two days to visit their daughter in the hospital. Besides bringing essential items like diapers, they offer her words of encouragement, hoping that her resilient spirit will continue to hold on】
During the mother’s pregnancy, she suffered from high blood pressure, but all prenatal check-ups showed no abnormalities. However, when the due date passed, the doctor decided to induce labor. After the baby was born, doctors found that she could not breathe on her own, leading to a drop in oxygen levels and cyanosis. She was immediately rushed to the intensive care unit, relying on oxygen to survive.
Later, the baby girl was transferred to a central hospital for further tests and was diagnosed with patent ductus arteriosus (PDA), atrial septal defect (ASD), and ventricular septal defect (VSD). Due to the location of the defects near the center of her heart, her heart function is severely compromised, and she cannot breathe independently. She relies on a ventilator, and her condition is critical. Doctors recommend urgent surgery, warning that without it, the baby risks heart enlargement or even heart failure, which could be fatal.
Her father, Ahmad Zaidi bin Awang (50 years old), has been a rice farmer for 20 years, earning an average monthly income of only RM1,200. Her mother, Masrini Bt Mat Saad (43 years old), is a housewife. In addition to their youngest daughter, they also have two daughters aged 11 and 6. The family’s monthly expenses are barely manageable, and they are unable to cover the enormous cost of the surgery.
After conducting a home visit and evaluation, ONE HOPE CHARITY has decided to raise the necessary medical funds for the baby. The parents have agreed to fully entrust the fundraising efforts to the foundation, which will collect donations on their behalf.
In addition, ONE HOPE CHARITY will contribute RM5,000 from its “Emergency Medical Reserve Fund” to support this rescue effort. For any inquiries, please contact our hotline: 04-539 9212, 016-419 2192, 019-232 2192, or 018-911 4192.
