Urgent Fundraising – Nur Auliya Adra Farisya (Heart Disease)

Description
"Our daughter only had 10 sweet days with the family before her oxygen levels suddenly dropped, and she was rushed to the hospital. She has been on a ventilator ever since. We feel so helpless and heartbroken, and we beg the public to help save our baby girl…"
This baby girl, Nur Auliya Adra Farisya Binti Fahmi, from Pendang, Kedah, had normal prenatal and postnatal check-ups. However, on the 10th day after her birth, she became lethargic and refused to feed. Her worried parents brought her to the hospital, where an initial examination revealed a significant drop in her oxygen levels. Suspecting a lung infection, the doctors transferred her to a central hospital for further tests, and it was there that she was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect.
Since then, the baby has been in the intensive care unit, relying on oxygen support. Doctors have informed the parents that she urgently needs heart surgery to prevent the risk of heart failure or a bacterial infection. However, the RM60,000 surgery cost has left the anxious parents feeling lost and desperate, and they are now appealing to the public for help in raising the necessary funds for her medical treatment.

The parents eagerly awaited the arrival of their baby girl, who was born weighing 3.54 kg. Both mother and baby were healthy, and they were discharged from the hospital after just one night. On the 4th day after birth, the baby girl had a check-up due to jaundice, but the condition was not serious. However, on the 9th day after her birth, she suddenly experienced difficulty breathing. By the next morning, after feeding, she was lethargic and remained unresponsive by 2 PM. Even when she opened her mouth, there was no cry, prompting her parents to suspect she was suffering from oxygen deprivation, and they immediately rushed her to the hospital.
Following a detailed examination, doctors diagnosed the baby with severe aortic coarctation (CoA) and isthmus and distal arch hypoplasia. Her life is in grave danger, and she requires emergency surgery to survive.
The father, Fahmi Bin Ahmad Zainol Abidin (38), is a public servant working for the Public Works Department, earning RM4,225 per month. The mother, Siti Aishah Binti Haji Hashim (35), is a housewife. The couple has two other young daughters, aged 9 and 6. Now, in order to save their youngest daughter, the parents are willing to do whatever it takes, seeking help from anyone who can assist.
After learning about their situation, ONE HOPE CHARITY has decided to launch a fundraising campaign to help the family raise the necessary funds for the surgery. The parents have entrusted the foundation to manage the fundraising on their behalf. Additionally, ONE HOPE CHARITY will allocate RM5,000 from its "Emergency Medical Reserve Fund."
