When he cries, his skin colour turns purplish and if cyring continously, he will be gasping for air. 2 years old baby boy who suffers from Progressive Cyanosis due to severe congenital heart disease requires second heart surgery. This his the best period for him to undergo surgery to stay alive. The baby boy urgently requires RM45,000 for surgery fee and hoping that the generous public could donate and save his life.
Aidil Syawal, 2 years old, who is from Shah Alam, Selangor was diagnosed with congenital heart disease . He requires to undergo 3 heart surgeries. His first successful surgery taken place when he was 2 months old. He is required to undergo his second heart surgery and hoping that the generous public could lend a helping hand to save his life.
Aidil Syawal was born in Shah Alam Hospital in 29th June 2017. His family was overjoyed to welcome him into the family. Doctor transferred him into NICU as he did not make any noise when he cries. He did not show any abnormal symptoms in that period. After 5 days when doctor decided to transfer him to normal ward, he experienced breathing difficulties and his skin turns purplish. After check-up, he was confirmed to suffer from heart defects.
Docotrs had transferred him to IJN for further check-up and after ultrasound screening. He was confirmed to suffer from Double Inlet Left Ventricle, Transposition of Great Artery (TGA) and slight pulmonary stenosis.Doctors suggested that his surgery should be split into phases.
His first surgery took place when he was 2 months old. His second surgery should be scheduled when he was 1 and a half years old. His heart surgery was delayed as he requires to undergo brain surgery.
His second surgery was initially scheduled on December last year but Aidil Syawal experienced 3 weeks continous fever. His parents brought him to clinic and that time, he experienced seizure. After scaning, doctors realize that his head has puss. The puss location was near his brain and he was rushed to KL General Hospital.
Due to his urgent condition, doctors scheduled his brain surgery the next day of his admission. He underwent 4 brain surgery and he was kept under monitoring for 2 months.
His current condition is suitable for heart surgery. Doctors do not suggest the surgery to be delayed any further and suggest to schedule his surgery soonest possible as the Aidil Syawal is suffering from Progressive Cyanosis. He tend to experience breanthing difficulties anytime and he could not be too active.
His father, Safwan Badli, 31, is a technician in a factory who draws a monthly salary of RM3,000. His mother, Nural Atiqah, 29, is currently unemployed as she needs to take care of Aidil Syawal.
As his parents are unable to bear Aidil Syawal’s surgery fee, they came forward to seek help from One Hope Charity and hoping that the generous public could lend a helping hand.
