He is only 2 weeks old and weighing only 2kg. He suffers from serious and complicated congenital heart disease and requires urgent surgery within 1 week to stay alive.
Baby boy, Kaaswin A/l Magaheswarn was born in 16th of Nov. He shows asthmatic symptoms when he was born and only weighing 2kg. Doctors suspected that he had lung infection and gave him antibiotic treatment but did not cure his asthmatic symptoms.
After a series of checkups, he was diagnosed with perforated heart, PDA and IAA. Urgent surgery is required else if his temporary artery shrinks, his life will be endangered.
Even he is underweight, due to his condition, surgery should not be delayed any further. His surgery fee sum up to RM80,000.
Baby boy is from Pulau Pinang. His father, Maganeswarn A/L Anavi, 34, works in a law firm previously and drawing a monthly salary of RM3,000. He also produces prayer material at home and earns RM1,000 extra. Due to his son’s condition, he was unable to go to work for 2 weeks and was forced to quit his job.
His mother, Anjalai A/P Kerisnain, 39, is a housewife. They have 6 children (5 daughter, 1 son).
Their only son suffers from heart disease. Their daughter age 13, 10, 8, and 5 years old respectively.
