During the evening of Deepavali, Khor Swee Tiang suddenly felt weak and were unable to get out from toilet. She was diagnosed with acute stroke and requires a huge amount for surgery.

Her family is unable to pay the expenses and was very worried. As a result, they came forward to seek help from us.

One Hope Charity had rushed her case and had allowed her to extract the blood clot from her brain. This had reduced the impact on her brain and increased her chance to recover.

【Our team rushed to approve her cases due to urgent condition】

Khor Swee Tiang, 59, who is from Bukit Mertajam went to toilet around 7pm during Deepavali. She suddenly felt weak and fell. Her husband, Loo Hock Seng, 57, found out that her wife did not come out after a certain period of time and went to check on her. Her husband found that she had fell down and was unable to get up on her feet. He then called his elder sister and his son to help and she was successfully being transported to hospital by ambulance.

The ambulance firstly brought her to Bukit Mertajam hospital and then transferred her to Seberang Jaya hospital. After a few checkup doctors suggested to clear her bloodclot in the brain. As a result, doctor suggested to send her to the only specialist center in northen Malaysia which is able to perform Mechanical thrombectomy surgery. If she is able to undergo surgery fast, her recovery rate is around 60% to 100%. But the surgery fee cost RM50,000.

In this critical period, her husband can only afford RM20,000.

One Hope received the case around 12am. Due to emergency, our medical assistance team had went to hospital to get information from the doctor and we had swiftly approved the case.
