【Part 1: Fundraising Initiated】They suffer from heart disease. 5 months old baby is gasping for air when he drinks milk and were forced to insert nasogastric tube; 30 years old youngster's heart disease had affected his leg's blood flow and nearly forced to be amputated. Both of them requires RM135,000 for heart surgery.
5 months old baby is forced to use nasogastric tube for feeding. His congenital heart disease has caused him to experience breathing difficulties; 30 years old youngster's heart disease has caused his leg nearly to be amputated. Both require to undergo surgery which cost a total of RM135,000.
Below are the case descriptions of the 2 patients. Please help to save their lives.
【Case 1: 5 months old baby gasping for air during feeding and is forced to insert nasogastric tube. He requires RM80,000 for heart surgery to stay alive】
Muhammad Ali Hafiy who is from Balik Pulau, Penang were a normal baby. 1 month after birth, his jaundice index spiked and had fever. After checking, doctor diagnosed him with congenital heart disease. He needs to undergo surgery when he is 6 months old or when he is above 10kg.
The baby can breath normally but during feeding, he will be gasping for air. Since birth, he was forced to insert nasogastric tube.
He is now 5 months old and needs to undergo surgery urgently. His parents were very worried about his condition and medical fee.
His father, Audi Bin Marwoto, 35, is an X-ray Technician who draws a monthly salary of RM3572. His mother, Ramlah Hanani Binti Mohammad Tajuddin is a whousewife. They have a 2 years old daughter and 5 months old baby.
【Case 2: 30 years old youngster's leg was nearly amputated due to restricted blood flow. After checkup, he was diagnosed with heart disease and requires RM55,000 for surgery】
Tai Run Cheng who is from Melaka suffered from perforated heart since birth. He was fine all the while but during June this year, his left leg felt numb.
His left leg turned purplish and was suggested by doctor to go for amputation. His family did not agree and requested the hospital to come out with another alternative. As he result, he was then transferred to IJN.
As IJN is responsible on heart disease, he was then transferred back to specialist hospital to clean up the dead cell twice. The medical fee was raised in his village and borrowed from friends & relatives.
After the treatment, he then went back for checkup and doctor found that his ventricular valve is unable to shut completely and had effected the blood flow. As a result, he is required to undergo surgery in IJN. His surgery cost RM 55,000.
Tai Run Cheng's parents is a vegetable seller. His father passed away 5 years ago. He is the 4th child of the family and they are staying in a new village in Melaka. Tai Run Cheng is a masonry who draws a daily salary of RM70. He is still single.
