She suffers from continuous cough and cold sweat in the middle of the night for 3 months. She was suddenly diagnosed with rare Lymph Node Cancer (Hodgkin Lymphoma). This has caused her to quit schooling for treatment.

Nurhawanis Binti Roslan, 19, who is from Puchong, Selangor had completed 2 session of Chemotherapy and had stem cell replacement surgery. Unfortunately, she is lacking of RM115,000 for medication to avoid cancer relapsing else the previous treatment will be a waste.

Condition

She is a hardworking student who scored 5As in SPM in 2017. She furthered her studies in University Technology Mara and pursuing Business Management. She was forced to leave school after 6 months as she was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma.

She suffered from continuous cough and night sweat for 3 months. After she visited numerous doctors, her condition did not improved. She was then referred to Serdangs Hospital and was again referred to Ampangs hospital for a series of treatment.

Nurhawanis was diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma in December 2018. After 2 sessions of Chemotherapy, she successfully went through stem cell replacement surgery. Doctors then advised her to consume 16 sessions of medications.

She is now resting at home and had to follow-up her treatment in hospital. She hopes that she can go back to university in September 2020. She is required to take the medication to avoid cancer relapsing.

Family Condition

Her father, Roslan Bin Baharom, 54, was forced to quit his job due to the relocation of his factory. He is a driver of heavy machinery. He draws a monthly salary of RM2,600. Her mother, Torsiah Binti Dogol, 51, is a housewife. They have 4 children and their eldest daughter who is 28 years old has married. Their second daughter is 25 years old and is working as a kitchen helper. Nurhawanis is the third child and she has a younger sister who is 18 years old.
