He loves to sing but he suddenly became quiet. His cochlear was damaged and caused him to experience hearing difficulties. Doctor confirmed that he can undergo artifical cochlear implant on his right ear. His family hopes that the generous donors can help to accumulate RM51,000 for his surgery.

He loves to sing but he became quiet. After checkup, doctor realized that his cochlear was damaged and is unable to hear. After using hearing aid, his condition did not improve. 4 years old Chew Er Wei requires to undergo artifical cochlear transplant surgery but is lacking of RM51,000 for surgery fee.

Chew Er Wei, 4 years old, who is from Klang use to love singing. As time goes by, his hearing faded and doctor had confirmed that he is suitable to undergo artificial cochlear implant surgery.

When he was 1 year old, he had been admitted to hospital due to fever. After half a year, he suddenly stop talking and singing. He got to stand very near to his parents when talking. As a result, his parents brought him to hospital for checkup.

As he is justing learning to talk, doctors said that his condition may be affected by his fever previously. Further, doctor also realized that there is water retention in his eardrum.

Er Wei had underwent 2 surgeries and had remove the water retention. Doctor then suggested him to use hearing aid and recommended speech therapy.

After using hearing aid for 2 years, it did not help him. After checkup, doctor found out that his eardrum is thin compared to normal people and had caused hearing difficulties. He needs to go for artificial cochlear implant surgery to improve his condition.

He is growing up and in this stage, he needs to listen and learn how to speak. The surgery fee cost RM90,000 and the welfare department will cover RM39,000. The remaining balance of RM51,000 requires to help from the generous society. Please lend a helping hand to him and ensure that he can grow up healthily like a normal child.

Chew Er Wei's father, Chew Keng Swee, 35, had been working as logistic worker for a shopping platform after closing down his coffee shop. He draws a monthly salary of RM1,600. Adding on to this, he draws a gross income of RM3,000 after adding commission. His mother, Ng Boon Siew, 34, is a clerk and drawing a monthly salary of RM3,000. The couple have 3 children who are 6 years old son, 2 years old daughter and Er Wei.
