Urgent Fundraising – Choong Family

URGENT

Husband want paralyzed due to stroke. Pregnant women are forced to go through rubbish to earn a living. Many generous public had went to their house and lend them a helping hand.

One Hope Charity also received requests from the public to help the family. One Hope Charity’s team had immediately contacted Batu Lancang’s Kadun YB Ong Ah Teong and had arranged home visit.

According to our home visit team, they had received many dry food assistance. As a result, YB Ong Ah Teong request the public to stop donating food as they expired easily and they now have more than enough.

During our home visit, Magdalena said that 2 days ago, many kind hearted people came forward to donate items. This had also caused certain disturbance and they hope that the generous public will temporary stop donating items to them.

Besides, due to too many transaction in their back account, the bank had frozen their account and they are unable to make any withdrawal.

The management of the apartment told us that after the news were released, many came to visit the family. Due to MCO, visits is not a best option for the moment,.

After the home visit, she had decided to allow One Hope Charity to take charge of the fundraising and hence allocating the fund to them monthly. The funds will be use for Magdalena's husband's (Choong Nai Fatt) treatment and physiotherapy, family's expenses and the children's education. This can also ensure that the donations from the generous public will serve its purpose and will not put to waste.

Family agrees to allow One Hope Charity to take charge of the fundraising and at the same time, accumulating the donations from the public. For enquiries, please contact our hotline at 016-4192192, 019-2322192, 04-5059800.
