59  years old Nik Arshad Bin Nik Ismail suddenly collapse during work and was diagnosed with Cerebrovascular obstruction. His family is devastated as he requires a huge amount of money for surgery.

Doctor told his family that he needs to undergo surgery soonest to avoid brain damage. His only son is worried about his father and the RM57,000 surgery fee.

Nik Arshad is a logistic truck driver. He is in charge of delivering items from the east coast and he requires to travel 2 to 3 times weekly.

He worked hard to earn a living and he had hypertension all these while. 3 weeks ago, he felt pain stiffness in his neck and he took pain killer.

in 2nd August afternoon while he was driving his truck, he felt dizzy and had pulled over. When he go out from his vehicle, he suddenly collapsed and his colleague sent him to hospital.

Doctor had confirmed that he is suffering from Cerebrovascular obstruction. Blood thinner was given but it is not effective. He was then transferred to the only Penang specialist centre which perform mechanical thrombectomy surgery. He requires to undergo the surgery else he will be paralysed.

He draws a monthly salary of RM1,350. His wife, Mazenah Binti Othman, 60, has retired. The couple has 3 children who is 30 years old eldest daughter (Housewife), 29 years old only son and 22 years old youngest daughter (Factory operator).

One Hope Charity had approved his case and sent him for surgery due to emergency condition. His surgery was successful and he requires treatment once he is recovered.

His family agree to allow One Hope Charity to take charge of the fundraising and at the same time, accumulating the donations from the public.
