To extend warmth and support to vulnerable communities, One Hope Charity & Welfare will be organising its annual flagship charity event, “2026 Aid Distribution Programme for Underprivileged Families & 24th Anniversary Celebration”, on 9 August 2026. The programme is expected to benefit 10,000 underprivileged and single-parent families across Penang Island and Seberang Perai. Each family will receive a food aid package and cash assistance worth RM320 to help ease their financial burden.
This year's aid distribution programme will be held on 9 August 2026 (Sunday), at 8.00am, at PICCA Convention Centre @ Butterworth Arena. Applications are limited to 1,500 queue numbers only and will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until all queue numbers have been distributed.

  Underprivileged families who have not applied through the service centres of their respective State Assemblymen in Penang Island and Seberang Perai may submit their applications on 14 June 2026 (Sunday) from 8.00am onwards (until all queue numbers have been distributed) at PICCA Convention Centre @ Butterworth Arena.
  Applicants must be Malaysian citizens from underprivileged, low-income or single-parent families (single parents must provide a copy of the death certificate or divorce certificate).
  Applicants are required to bring along their original and photocopy of MyKad, as well as their latest electricity and water bills (within the last three months).
  One Hope Charity's verification team will conduct on-site assessments. Successful applicants will receive a voucher on the spot, which can be redeemed for the food aid package and cash assistance on the event day.

  Each aid package is worth RM320, consisting of food supplies and red packet assistance.
  Apart from providing essential food items, the red packet assistance allows beneficiaries to utilise the funds for their children's education expenses, outstanding rental payments, utility bills, or to purchase other necessities that they may require.

  As this programme involves extensive preparations and is a large-scale event, One Hope Charity is currently recruiting volunteers to assist in various tasks to ensure the smooth running of the programme.
