Chinese New Year Celebration which is full of warmth was held and beneficiaries from 3 races has participated in this event.

This year’s Chinese New Year celebration was very touching as parents shared the journey of recovery of their children who obtained help from One Hope Charity & the generous public. They also sent their greatest appreciation towards the generous public who gave a new life to their children.

4 years ago, a single-parent father who had only 5% chances of survival obtained help from One Hope Charity and successfully underwent treatment. 3 years ago, he came to the Chinese New Year Celebration with crutches but this year, he is able to hold his daughter’s hand and attended this event.

Furthermore, those babies who was inserted with tubes when they were born are all healthy and happy now. These people who attended this event were the beneficiaries of One Hope Charity and previously obtained help from us.

In 2018, One Hope Charity had distributed RM 5,256,254.44 and it shows an increased of 24.52% compared to 2017. This report does not only illustrate the fund used but it also shows the changes of beneficiaries. Today, we can see that the children that we saved together are happy and healthy, poor families’ burden are lightened, old folks and children do not need to starve anymore.

Recalling the laughter in the hall, this has motivated us to be more dedicated to help the poor and expanding the aids provided. As a result, in 2019, we forecasted to distributed an amount of RM 6mil to the poor and needy people. We truly hope that the generous public will continue supporting us and together, we can lend a helping hand to those who are needed.

We sincerely thank the generous business owners and donors who sponsored our event, entertainer who performed, volunteers who helped us and also the participates and doctors. This has allowed this simple event to be successful.
