The 5-year-old boy was diagnosed with a single ventricle baby and suffered from severe heart disease since he was born. His condition suddenly deteriorated and urgently needed surgery. A total of RM7,000 from the “Emergency Medical Reserve Fund” has been channeled for this case.

Tan Jun Bin, a 5-year-old boy from Bukit Mertajam, Penang, had been diagnosed with a single ventricle since he was born, his condition has deteriorated, and urgently needs surgery to save his life. ONE HOPE CHARITY had appropriated RM7,000 from the "Emergency Medical Reserve Fund" to allow the boy to undergo surgery during the prime period. Jun Bin's condition is stable, passed the observation period successfully, and is recuperating in the general ward.

In June 2018 ONE HOPE CHARITY launched an RM80,000 fundraising campaign for him for surgery. He was only 10 months old at the time. The surgery underwent smoothly and he grow up safely.

The doctor advised him to visit the hospital regularly for check-ups after surgery. According to his mother, once Jun Bin was too active, he would be out of breath, even cyanotic and hypoxic, and was admitted to the hospital for treatment.

When he went to the hospital for a follow-up visit a few days ago, the doctor found that his heart was showing signs of deterioration, and he needed a second heart surgery urgently.

ONE HOPE CHARITY appropriated RM7,000 from the "Emergency Medical Reserve Fund" to allow Jun Bin to undergo heart surgery in an emergency. At present, the surgery has been completed and everything is going well. Jun Bin is currently recuperating in the general ward, we believed that he will recover soon and discharged

Thanks to your generosity, so that ONE HOPE CHARITY can provide emergency assistance in times of emergency.
