With the hope and blessing around the world, little Eloise growth development has been steady. When the mother carried her, not only did little Eloise’s little hands grab onto her mother’s finger, she even stared into her mother’s eyes.

Little Eloise can now intake milk up to 30ml in every three hours, which showed good progress in her health.

The father Ang Theam Seah said according to the doctor, what little Eloise needs to focus now is to gain weight, which has definitely seen that it has made good progress. On May 4, 78 days after her birth, she now weighs 1.78kg. The doctor has also checked her eyes twice, which found that her eyes were developed perfectly.

“This is such great news. Although she still has to use a machine to help her with her breathing, over time the doctor will eventually get her to breathe manually. It still all depends on her progress.”

Little Eloise was born in Singapore on Feb 22 this year, but was only after a gestational age of 28 weeks, categorised her as a “micro preemie”. Little Eloise weighs only 670 g at birth, with only a size of an adult palm. Her skin is red, almost as if it was transparent. Not only she must be taken extra care, but also need to monitor even the most minute changes. The parents were unable to bear the expensive medical fee, hence approached One Hope Charity for help.

After the Association had launched the fundraiser, our goal to raise RM1.2 million was achieved within 29 hours.

78 days after birth, little Eloise now weighs from 670g to 1.78kg. Alongside the increase of her body weight, her skin began to show her natural skin colour.

Little Eloise was born small and fragile, but now she grows stronger and healthier than ever. She has demonstrated us the miracle of life, and this miracle would not have been possible if it weren’t for the kind-hearted donors around the world.

The Association would transfer her to a hospital Malaysia for further examination once the doctors agreed that little Eloise is in suitable condition. Once her development is done, she can safely be discharged.
