The 70-year-old father and 40-year-old son, both suffer from kidney disease and need dialysis. The younger son in their family has to take care of them and have to bear the medical and living expenses. The family that was not rich is facing an even more tragic situation now.  The family pleads for RM96,160 to support their medical and living expenses.

The 74-year-old father and 40-year-old son both suffer from kidney disease and required to undergo dialysis. All the family expenses fall on the 35-year-old younger son’s shoulder. He was a warehouse manager with a fixed income. His father and brother need his care with send them to dialysis centre therefore he had no choice but to earn a slender income by working as part-timer.

However, the small amount of income is not enough to cover the medical expenses of the father and brother, as well as the living expenses of the family. This caused the family facing financial difficulties.

The father seeing the younger son was worried about everything of the family and thus the father seek assistance from ONE HOPE CHARITY. After home visits and case review, ONE HOPE CHARITY decided to help them to raise RM96,160 for the Chia’s father and son for two years of medical and living expenses. The required fund had been raised completely so the fundraising will be stopped from now on.

The Father Chia Ah Bee and son Chia Shao Wei thanked the public for their caring and donations, which greatly reduced their burden and allowed them to receive dialysis treatment smoothly.
