Chong Wei Jie, a 2-month-old boy who suffering with congenital heart disease and Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). He could only be supported by medication. The shortfall of RM50,000 of surgical fee has been raised. The parents are grateful to the enthusiastic people for the donations to help them to overcome this difficulty and save the life of the child.

Chong Wei Jie who from Penang, has been found by doctors to have a foot problem when he was born. He also diagnosed that his blood vessels are very thinning and thus he was given a follow-up appointment for a more detailed examination.

Later, Chong Wei Jie and his mother checked into the confinement centre in Penang. However, he was diagonsed Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) when he was about 1 month-old. This was caused he could not go for follow-up appointment as scheduled. After the quarantine period ended, his parents immediately took him to the hospital for examination. The report showed that his condition gradually critical, and he must undergo heart surgery as soon as possible.

Because the child could not be discharged, the parents had busy between the hospital and house. Looking at the child lying in the hospital bed, the two of them felt distressed. When they know that the child’s surgery fee was raised completely, the parents finally can breathe with relax. They were appreciated the kind people who help them so that the child can survive.
