A boy who underwent heart surgery when he was 2-years-old, he is now 4-years-old and growing up healthy. He is ready to go to kindergarten.
Chuah Jia Hao, from Balik Pulau, Penang, was suffered from severe pulmonary artery stenosis since his birth. He underwent balloon valvuloplasty(commonly known as Ballon) when he was 2-months-old. In October 2019, he showed signs of leakage from the balloon valve, and the enlarged heart hole caused other defects. He needs urgent surgery to save his life. At the time, One Hope Charity launched a total amount of RM90,000 fundraising event for his surgery fee.
He recovered and was discharged in November 2019 after completing the heart operation. Two years later, his parents still feel grateful to One Hope Charity and the kind-hearted public who has helps them pass thru the difficulties before. In addition to donating from time to time, his parents also brought him to One Hope Charity office to let the staffs know his latest status.
They came to collect supplies during the time One Hope Charity distributed Food-Box-with-Love to the needy, and at the same time to let the staff see his situation.
The parents are very grateful to the kind-hearted public so that their little boy can get help from the general public, and thank you all for your donations!
