Due to the mother’s fetus being unable to transfuse blood to the baby and needed to undergo an emergency C-section, the baby was safely delivered but born with severe heart diseases. The baby resides in the NICU ward, relying on a machine to help with his breathing. Fortunately, the fundraising goal for the medical expenses of his surgery is achieved, and the doctor will be arranging for his surgery depending on the baby’s current condition. Let us all give him our blessing and hope that he could reunite with his family at home.
AHMAD HAFIZUDDIN was in need of RM70,000 to undergo the surgery, and with the fundraising goal reached, One Hope Charity will call the fundraising campaign to an end.
The baby boy was from Bukit Mertajam, with his father MOHD NAZREE works as a driver for the Seberang Perai City Council. The father was deeply appreciated to everyone for putting aside the differences of races and religions, and to work together to help and support his child.
Up until today, the New Year baby has been relying on the breathing aid throughout his life. If he removes the breathing aid, he would not be able to breathe manually due to the hole in his heart. Hence, the boy must stay in the NICU ward until the surgery is complete.
As the Association has garnered enough funds in such a short amount of time, the New year baby can undergo surgery in an opportune time. The parents would like to thank all of you for not only saving the child’s life, but also hopefully to bring them back home for a family reunion.
