Husband suffers from stroke and is paralyzed. Pregnant wife is forced to go through rubbish to earn a living for his family. One Hope Charity had assisted Choong family in fundraising and till 8th Feb @ 2pm, we had successfully raised RM113,500. Within 40 hours, the fund raised will be enough for Choong family for a period of time. As a result, One Hope Charity will stop the fundraising at once. We will proceed with discussing with Magdalena about the monthly required living cost. One Hope Charity will then release the money every month for her husband's medical fee, family expenses and her children's education fee.
We will arrange for Magdelena's husband continuous treatment and ensuring that he can recover soonest possible.
One Hope Charity's chairman, Mr. Chua Sui Hau said that the amount raised should be enough for a certain period of time. Adding on, the news spread like fire in social media and there are many accounts available for donations. To avoid confusion and avoiding scams, Magdelena had agreed to stop the fundraising.

After discussion with Magdelena and Mr. Choong's elder sister, they agreed to allow One Hope Charity to raise funds on behalf of them. The fund raising is now stopped and One Hope Charity will allocate certain amount monthly to the family. The money will be use for Mr. Choong's treatment, Physiotherapy, family's expenses and their children's education fee. We will ensure that the fund will be put in good use.
