Ooi Chun Ping’s medical condition has been stable, and the tracheostomy operation was completed so that he would not be needing the breathing aid anymore. Please continue to give him your blessings and hope for speedy recovery.

The 55-year-old was hit with a sudden stroke and fell to the ground, stricken fear towards his parents. The huge medical fee also left his parents and wife helpless, hence approached One Hope Charity to launch a fundraising campaign.

To date, their goal to raise a total fund of RM130,000 has been achieved, which significantly helped easing the burden of his families.

Chun Ping’s 71-year-old mother has been constantly worrying about her son’s medical condition, but she still needs to earn a living. She has been operating her stall selling noodles alone, while Chun Ping’s 84-year-old father was unable to freely at home due to old age. But now that they manage to raise enough funds for the medical expenses, the family can let out a deep sigh of relief.

The mother and son has been selling Jawa Mee at a coffee shop near the Ayer Itam market for a decade. The son got hit by a stroke and after being sent to hospital for examination, he was diagnosed with a cerebrovascular burst and urgently needed to undergo surgery.
