Four kids have been placed under the care of their grandparents after the death of their father three years ago. The grandfather and sole breadwinner, who needs to fight cancer, could not stop worrying about his grandchildren. He hoped to raise RM90,000 for the living expenses as well as for their grandchildren’s education.

For Tan Ah Kow, this year's New Year is different.Suffering from prostate cancer, he is worried about the helplessness of his four grandchildren. After One Hope Charity has adopted their family and received the donations from the public. With the support of the community, RM90,000 have been raised. Grandpa does not need to worry about his grandchildren in the future.

The 69-year-old Tan Ah Kow was finally able to concentrate on medical treatment, and the smile on his face increased.

Grandpa’s son passed away 3 years ago, leaving 4 orphans to be raised by the elderly grandpa and grandma. Now the grandpa and sole breadwinner, who needs to fight cancer, could not stop worrying about his grandchildren.

Grandpa also repeatedly urged the four grandchildren to give back to the society when they are grow up, because these are all kindness and love from public.

The RM90,000 raised will be used as the Tan family's five-year living and education expenses. If there is any unexpected accident during this period, One Hope Charity will also provide appropriate assistance according to the situation.
