One Hope Charity donated personal protective supplies to 24 micro Chinese primary schools (Type C Schools) and a special school in Penang, hoping that the schools will continue with its efforts in preventing the spread of Covid-19.

The situation of Covid-19 is still unstable, but everyone has recognized the fact of coexistence with the virus and carried out their lives in a new norms.  All walks of life have resumed its operations and the primary schools have started their classes. Knowing that some Chinese primary schools in Penang, especially those micro primary schools located in the rural areas are lacking resources, One Hope Charity decided to donate personal protective supplies to 24 micro Chinese primary schools and a special school in Penang.

Each school will receive 100 Covid-19 test kits, 2,000 pieces of medical-grade face masks, 50 small bottles of hand sanitizers, 15 large bottles of hand sanitizers, 30 face shields, and 5 bottles of handwash soap.

The 25 beneficiary schools are SJKC Sin Chung in Permatang Sintok, SJKC Chin Hwa in Pinang Tunggal, SJKC Aik Keow in Penaga, SJKC Kuang Yu in Kuala Muda, SJKC Nung Min in Bumbong Lima, SJKC Kubang Semang, SJKC Aik Hua, SJKC Beng Teik Cawangan, SJKC Eng Chuan, SJKC Li Tek Cawangan, SJKC Moh Ghee Cawangan, SJKC Pai Chai, SJKC Shih Chung Pusat, SJKC Sum Min, SJKC Tong Sian, SJKC Chin Hwa in Balik Pulau, SJKC Pulau Betong, SJKC Sacred Heart, SJKC Sin Min, SJKC Tah Tong, SJKC Yeok Hua Kuala Jalan Bharu, SJKC Eok Hua in Teluk Bahang, SJKC Poi Eng in Gertak Sanggul, SJKC Yu Chye in Kuala Sungai Pinang, and Sekolah Kebangsaan Pendidikan Khas Alma.

These are the general donations from the public, which allow One Hope Charity to provide appropriate assistance to families and organizations in need in a timely manner. One Hope Charity also thanks to the public for their donations and support on behalf of the beneficiary families and organizations.
