While assisting in the funeral process, it was found that the deceased left a disabled wife. ONE HOPE CHARITY has properly handled the husband's funeral and then provided the widow with food assistance to help her avoid starvation.

After the death of her husband, 66-year-old Teo Ka Hong was in a difficult life. After a home visit, ONE HOPE CHARITY provided food and rice cookers to help ease her living burden.

Teo Ka Hong suffers from diabetes and was amputated after a car accident in 2015. Both of them have no children. Her husband was a braised pork hawker before, and the couple relied on his meager income. However, her husband, unfortunately, passed away in January this year, and we will provide funeral & burial assistance to the family.

After the death of her husband, the woman had no source of income at all, she only relied on her nephews and nieces to prepare daily meals for her. However, they were not from a wealthy family also, so they applied to ONE HOPE CHARITY for dried food assistance.

We immediately provided Teo Ka Hong a Food-Box-with-Love after a home visit. We also presented a brand new rice cooker to her when she mentioned that the rusted rice cooker at home had been used for 25 years.
