Seeing the child discharged from the hospital after a surgery was the most happiest thing to this single mother, after taking extra care for the past seven years.

Muhammad Sufi Khalish seemingly looks like a normal and active boy, but carries a life-threatening heart disease. After the fundraiser reached its funding goal for the surgery, the boy underwent surgery on April 2. The boy was later admitted in ICU for examination for two days, before being transferred to the ordinary ward and hospitalised on April 4. His body shows great recovery and was permitted to be discharged on April 7.

Muhammad Sufi Khalish was born after 30 weeks of gestational age and was later diagnosed with a hole in his heart. At that time, he was sent to the incubator in the NICU ward for six months before allow to leave the hospital and return back.

After years of careful care, the mother and son get along well together. It was until this year when the boy started to feel exhausted frequently. After a medical checkup, the doctor diagnosed him with heart related issues such as peripheral membrane defect, right coronary valve prolapse, and aortic regurgitation. The doctor said that a heart repair operation, otherwise the little boy’s life can be in serious danger.

The sudden news has left the single mother anxious and approached One Hope Charity for help. The cheerful little boy has won the hearts of many kind hearted people as donations came pouring in until the fundraising goal has been reached for immediate surgery.

Today, the boy was able to undergo surgery in the most opportune time and was discharged from the hospital. The single mother Nurul Ainnee Binti Latif hoped that through the Association, would want to show her deepest gratitude to the donors, regardless of race and religion, that has helped the mother-and-son, leaving out a heavy burden of her shoulders knowing that her biggest worry has come to an end.
