Her husband died of lymphoma 3 years ago. The single mother took her 3 children back to live with her natal family. ONE HOPE CHARITY provided dry food aid, milk powder and diapers for the children for 6 months to help them tide over the difficulties.

Cheng Ping Sin (33 years old) from Padang Serai, her husband worked in the funeral industry but died three years ago of lymphoma. As a result, she returned to live with her natal family with her three children, ages nine, six, and three. She is currently working part-time in a restaurant, and her income is insecure. Her elderly father works on the side, and her mother stays at home to care for her grandchildren. Because her family's income is limited, she applied for assistance from ONE HOPE CHARITY.

Following receipt of the request for assistance and a home visit, the committee approved the provision of dry food, milk powder, and diaper assistance for the child for a period of six months.
