Sew Wi Ting, a 14 years old girl who suffering from leukaemia, her chemotherapy is still in progress. The current medical expenses have been borne by the government hospital. Anyhow, if Sew Wi Ting require follow-up treatment in the future, One Hope Charity will also help and accompany her to fight cancer.
The single mother, Goh Cheng Gaik, due to her daughter was suffering from leukaemia, she was forced to quit her job to accompany her child for chemotherapy. The family’s financial fell into difficulties immediately. One Hope Charity decided to support the family financial for 2 years and launched a fundraising campaign of RM 63,000. The campaign has achieved its goal therefore fundraising will be stopped from now on.
Goh Cheng Gaik used to work three jobs to raise two of her children. Now the child was fell into illness, she worried about his daughter's condition at the same time she can't do anything about their future living expenses.
A family of three is supported by little income of 22 years old eldest daughter. However, the eldest daughter is going to be unemployed affected by MCO. The entire family is fall into an economic difficulty again. With the assistance from One Hope Charity, its help them to tide over the difficulties for 2 years. Then the mother can also take good care of Sew Wi Ting with sending her to the hospital for treatment.
