64-year-old unmarried man Tang Nam Song met with an accident in Machang Bubok, Bukit Mertajam on June 5 evening and he was sent to the Bukit Mertajam Hospital for emergency treatment.

He was in critical condition with severe injury on his head. The hospital decided to transfer him to Penang Hospital for a better treatment.

Nam Song is single, and after the accident, no one could locate his family members through the address stated on his identification card. The public also shared the news about the accident on social media, hoping to find his family.

However, Nam Seong passed away on June 14 at Penang Hospital before anyone could find his family.

After he passed away, many kind-hearted people did not give up looking for his family. After going through some hard time, they managed to find his details from a Buddhist temple where he used to be their member. The address was his ancestral house in North Seberang Perai, and they finally got his family members from that address.

After learning about the news of his passing, his family went to the hospital to claim his body before they handed over to One Hope Charity to manage his funeral.

According to his family, Nam Song left home few years ago without leaving any words. There were several occasions where they saw him on the streets in Bukit Mertajam. They never expected that they could only meet Nam Song when he passed away.

His family thanked One Hope Charity for offering help especially the arrangement for the funeral. The family also thanked everyone who helped Nam Song, so that his family members could attend the funeral and gave him a send-off.
