The 18-year-old man who had spasticity committed suicide by hanging. The single mother was unable to handle the funeral of the child and thus the 19-year-old sister sought for assistance. ONE HOPE CHARITY provided the coffin and funeral assistance from the public donations.

Kumaresan A/L Subramaniam suffered from spasticity since he was a child. His father was also pass away when he was a child. At that time, his mother was unable to take care of the two children. Kumaresan was handed over to relatives to take care when he was 9 years old.

Due to spasticity, Kumaresan was faced movement difficulties during school time. It was caused him faced ridicule from classmates therefore he was stop schooling since standard 3.

Last month, he hanged himself at home without signal. His mother Saraswathy (60 years old) was a cleaner with a slender income, and his sister was currently unemployed. The mother and daughter had financial difficulty to handle the funeral cost of Kumaresan and thus they seek help from ONE HOPE CHARITY.
