Lau Soo Poh, a 56-year-old middle-aged bachelor, has been afflicted with numerous chronic diseases for years and has lost his ability to work. He has relied on his siblings for support all along the way.

He became ill a few days ago and was admitted to the hospital for treatment; he died due to multiple organ failures.

Because the deceased was single, his siblings were also financially burdened. Following receipt of the family's application, ONE HOPE CHARITY gathered public donations, provided coffins for the deceased, and handled funeral arrangements.

ONE HOPE CHARITY has collected donations from the public in order to provide coffins, cremations, and a columbarium for the deceased.

If there are any poor or needy who could not afford and manage the funeral for their loved ones, or there are any elderly living alone who are interested in registering for the “Promise of the Last Journey” programme, kindly contact ONE HOPE CHARITY at 016-419 2192, 019-232 2192 or 04-539 9212 for help.
