Lim Ru Yi lost his father when he was 1 year old. His mother worked tirelessly to raise his only son. In the middle of last year, he was diagnosed with colon cancer. He succumbed to cancer after treatment and died. ONE HOPE CHARITY gathered public donations to help with the aftermath of young people, and single mothers wept as they said goodbye to their beloved son.

Ru Yi, now 36, worked hard to earn money to repay his mother's upbringing. He also actively participated in community social work activities after work, such as volunteer fire brigade organizations and blood donation campaigns.

He was diagnosed with colon cancer in the middle of last year. After a complex medical procedure, the cancer cells returned and then rose rapidly to the end stage, but he remained optimistic. He also understands that continuing treatment will increase the financial burden on the family, so he found work as an online customer service assistant during his second battle with cancer to supplement his mother's income.

Ru Yi died in his mother's arms during this year's Chinese New Year. ONE HOPE CHARITY immediately assists the deceased after receiving notification from the dead's mother. He performed Buddhist rituals and cremated the ashes along the Penang coast in accordance with the deceased's wishes.
