A 52-year-old bachelor passed away at home unfortunately a few days ago. ONE HOPE CHARITY has gathered donations from the public to assist in his aftermath.

Ng Kim Yew from Penang Island has been ill for many years and has always been treated in the hospital. He was admitted to the hospital for treatment a few months ago, when he was discharged from the hospital with weigh only 35 kg.

After being discharged from the hospital, he was taken care of by his eldest sister. A few days ago, he suddenly experienced shortness of breath and his family members quickly called the ambulance. However, when the medical staff arrived for examination, it was confirmed that he was out of breath.

The family was unable to bear the funeral and cremation costs, so they approached One Hope Charity for help. In addition to providing a free coffin to the deceased, One Hope Charity also stepped in to handle his funeral, as well as assisting in getting him a columbarium niche.

One Hope Charity has always been providing funeral and burial assistance to poor and underprivileged families. As long as a family fulfilled the qualifications, One Hope Charity would take charge of the funeral expenses, so that the family could give their loved one a dignified send-off.
