Although Covid-19 pandemic has affected the livelihood of certain groups of people, and some even unable to afford the funeral expenses of their loved ones. Fortunately, there were still people who always showed their cares and offered help. They donated coffins, as well as supporting the funeral expenses of deceased from underprivileged families so that those families could give their loved ones a dignity send-off.
The general donations made by kind-hearted individuals enabled ONE HOPE CHARITY to provide Funeral and Burial Assistances to those families in need. In November and December 2021, One Hope Charity provided a total of 33 Funeral and Burial Assistances – 21 cases in November and 12 cases in December.
All the deceased were from underprivileged families, and some of them were the head of the family, or the only breadwinner of their respective family. Their family members faced financial difficulties and were unable to afford the funeral expenses, hence they sought help from ONE HOPE CHARITY for assistance.
ONE HOPE CHARITY makes good use of the general donations made by generous individuals to provide Funeral and Burial Assistances to families in need and conduct the funerals based on the last wishes and religious beliefs of the deceased and their family members.
ONE HOPE CHARITY and the beneficiary families would like to thank all generous individuals for their general donations so that the Organisation can provide assistance to those families in need during emergency, relocate lonely elderlies to nursing homes for better care, as well as to provide poor deceased dignity send-offs.
