A 15-year-old Indian girl from a single-parent family chose to suicide due to depression, and One Hope Charity gathered the donations of the people to give her a coffin and take care of her aftermath.

Syahsyah A/P Ramu was depressed, because of her father had pass away for two years, and so that her mother had to take care of the whole family after her husband's death. When she noticed that her younger daughter was suffering from depression, she wanted her daughter to be treated but did not have extra cash.

Her mother and eldest daughter had done their best to accompany her at home, but when her family members were not paying attention, she chose to suicide after leaving home.

Syahsyah had an elder sister, depending on their mother to take care of the two sisters. This sudden bad news for the mother, who cannot afford the funeral and cremation costs, so she sought assistance from One Hope Charity.

One Hope Charity has always been providing funeral and burial assistances to poor and underprivileged families. As long as a family fulfilled the qualifications, One Hope Charity would take charge of the funeral expenses, so that the family could give their loved one a dignified send-off.
