Harshini A/P Gunalan, a 13 years old girl has scoliosis of 69 degrees. Because of her tonsil protrusion and cervicothoracic syringomyelia, she must first extract the fluid in her spine before correcting her spine. She needs to undergo two surgeries to correct her scoliosis.
The two surgeries cost RM49,000. Her family members turned to the public for help because they could not afford it. The medical expenses have been raised, therefore the fundraising will be stopped immediately.
Her mother, Tamilselvi A/P N.Supermaniam, who is a teacher, is very grateful for the donations from the generous public, regardless of race or religion, to help her daughter.
