Hor Bee Ho has been discharged from the hospital and has now been placed in a nursing home. She is being taken care of by trained personnel and her wounds are being cleaned regularly. As she has gotten a new place where she called home and somewhere for her to enjoy her twilight years, she finally felt relieved and showed a smile on her face. The RM90,000 she needed had been successfully raised, hence, the fundraising will stop immediately.

65-year-old Bee Ho used to support herself through hard work, but an accident resulted her to lose the ability of taking care of herself.  Her right toes and foot plate had been amputated, and her hand and feet were fractured. After the bone and tendon grafting surgeries, she is bedridden, and needs someone to take care of her. She did not have a place to live, and she didn’t know where to go. She was desperate and wanted to give up her life.

Her friend approached One Hope Charity for help, and after reviewing the case, One Hope Charity decided to help her. A few days ago, with the assistance of an ambulance, she was sent directly to a nursing home after being discharged from the hospital so that she can at least have a place to recuperate. In the nursing home, she can also get special care from trained personnel to clean her wounds. Although she needs time to recover but she can at least need not worry about her life in the future.

She is very grateful for the assistance from the public, and she also vowed to contribute back by serving in the nursing home for the rest of her life, as well as to help those who are unable to walk or take care of themselves after she recovers. Thank you for the power of love, so that she can deeply feel the warmth of the society.
