Five years ago, a 9-year-old boy was diagnosed with a heart attack due to a cold. His condition has been getting worse recently and he had to undergo heart surgery to save his life. He recovered well after the operation. He can now go home and celebrate Chinese New Year with his family. He can't hide his happiness when he knows that he can be discharged.

Leong Ka Seng, from Sungai Petani, has had regular check-ups since he was diagnosed with heart disease. However, he skipped the inspection during the MCO. During the follow-up visit after the MCO, the doctor found that he was in serious condition and needed to undergo heart surgery as soon as possible, otherwise his life would be in danger.

ONE HOPE CHARITY raised money for him and arranged for him to undergo surgery. He underwent surgery on January 20 and was observed in the ICU for 2 days.

Due to his rapid recovery, he was discharged from hospital on January 26, which means he can spend the Chinese New Year at home with his family. He was very happy when our team visited him with the message that he could go home. It is the happiest thing to be at home with family during Chinese New Year.

The parents are very grateful to all the generous donations and blessings that allowed their son to complete the operation in a short time and bid farewell to his heart disease completely.
