Liew Wei Jia, the baby boy with heart disease, was blessed by many kind-hearted people two years ago. Now, he grows up to be a healthy and lively boy. In this festive season, he takes the opportunity to meet and greet everyone who had helped him.

In this Chinese New Year, Wei Jia’s parents brought him to One Hope Charity Service Centre to send their Chinese New Year wishes to everyone. Wei Jia is now an active and lively three-year-old boy. His parents are still very grateful to all kind-hearted people who helped them in saving such an adorable and loveable baby.

Wei Jia had a successful surgery on 30 December 2020. Before the last Chinese New Year, his parents also brought him to One Hope Charity Service Centre to send in their New Year’s greetings. At that time, he had just completed his surgery and was still unable to walk well. However, when his parents brought him to the Service Centre together with his sisters in this Chinese New Year, he can already walked steadily. He was very active and loved to jump up and down.

His mother, Lau Chai Choo also made a special donation on that day, hoping to pass on the love and help the other patients who are in need, just like how they received help from others.

His father, Liew Soon Heng told One Hope Charity that after the surgery, Wei Jia was supposed to go to the hospital for follow-up visits frequently, but as he grows, the number of follow-up visits has been reduced. Currently, he needs to go for a follow-up visit once every four months.

His condition is getting better and better now, and he is also very active. His family can now relieved. Three-year-old Wei Jia is the precious child in the family. Not only his parents love him, but his two sisters also dote on him very much.

Little Wei Jia’s family members thanked the donors for helping them through the tough time when they were helpless. The also wished all well-wishers a happy Chinese New Year.
