Vijaya, a 70-year-old woman suffers from knee pain. Her knees will be extremely painful when she walks, this affects her daily life. Doctors recommended injections in her knees to ease the pain.
However, the cost of injecting medication is about RM4,000 for both knees needed. She and her husband only live on the assistance of RM500 per month from the Department of Social Welfare Malaysia, so they applied to ONE HOPE CHARITY for assistance.
After the home visit, we decided to sponsor her for the injection fee. She now has completed the injection, the pain has reduced a lot, and she can walk and resume her daily life.
Vijaya is very grateful to ONE HOPE CHARITY, giving a helping hand regardless of race or religion. We would like to thank all the generous public for their donations. Any medical expenses less than RM20,000 will not be publicly raised. These donations are from the daily donations of benevolent people.
