During the outbreak of Covid-19, One Hope Charity had contributed RM319,193.57 from June till September (4 months) to assist 57 patients in medical & living cost assistance.
This does not include the fundraising cases and the amount required are not above RM20,000. One Hope Charity uses the daily donations from the generous public to provide this assistance.
One Hope Charity provides aid which includes medical equipments like hearing aid, ventilator, medical assistance, wound cleaning, prosthetic limbs, special shoes, surgery fee. Besides, we lend hospital bed and walkers too. Living cost assistance provided by us includes the contribution of dry food, diapers, special formulated milk, sheltering old folks etc.
Surgery fee which do not exceed RM20,000 will be approved if the case follows our requirement. One Hope Charity will not publish on our social media or having a press release. We put the daily donation to good use.
In July, One Hope Charity had provided surgery fee assistance to a 10 months old baby girl, Thesnee. She suffer from rare spinal tumor. She requires RM6,497 for surgery to remove the tumor else she will be paralyzed. We used the daily donations from the generous public to help her in her surgery. She had recovered and discharged.
The outbreak had affected many families from low to mid income group. From June to September, we had provided aid to 79 patients of 3 races and ranging from infant to old folks.
Besides, One Hope Charity also contributed 10 packs of essential items to CASP to help patients who had lost their jobs.
