The mother is elderly and her legs are weak, the father is hospitalised after a car accident, and the son is fired from his job to care for his mother. Life takes a turn for the worse. To help with the financial burden, ONE HOPE CHARITY donates food and lends toilet chairs, walking aids, and blood pressure monitors.

Kwan Chow Leong, 67, of Bukit Mertajam, is unable to walk on both feet and must use a walker; her husband is a lorry driver whose feet were injured in a car accident two years ago. His employer has currently placed him in a nursing home; the cost is borne by the employer.

The eldest son, who was responsible of caring for the elderly woman, had previously worked in a factory. He lost his job because he had to look after his disabled sister and his elderly mother on a daily basis. The family is currently in trouble. The association received requests from the eldest son for his mother's food, toilet chairs, walkers, and blood pressure monitors.
