The 85-year-old mother and 65-year-old child are in trouble. ONE HOPE CHARITY decided to support them in term of mattress, pillow, dialysis fees and food supply for up to 1 year. Hope that this be able to save them from hunger temporarily!

Lim Mooi San, a 65-year-old bachelor who had high blood pressure 10 years ago and needed dialysis started in 2003. He initially relied on his own savings for dialysis fee. Later, he received assistance from the Ministry of Health for dialysis, however,  the cost of injections was self-afford.

He worked as a tourist van driver before illness, earning from RM25 to RM50 at a time, depending on the driving distance. With this unstable income, he only could be relying on savings to cover monthly expenses during this two-year epidemic.

He was fell in October 2021, which led to difficulties in movement. This caused he and his 85-year-old mother, who was dependent on Lim Mooi San, both are in trouble. Although the siblings had provided some support to their mother but still not sufficient.

After the home visit, ONE HOPE CHARITY decided to provide Lim Mooi Shan and his 85-year-old mother with food supply for up to 1 year and provide RM3,072 for dialysis injections. This is to help them pass through this period of difficulties.
