An electronic technician was suffering from glaucoma and needed a cornea transplant. He underwent the cornea transplant operation on February 23, and the operation went very smoothly. He currently resting in a nursing home.

Michael Ng Cheng Eng, an electronic technician from Penang Island, suffered from glaucoma 5 years ago, which greatly affected his vision. Last year, his vision deteriorated sharply. His life is affected by his inability to see. He is also often injured when he walks. This makes him unable to work, relying on friends and savings to live on.

The doctor suggested he undergo a cornea transplant surgery, which rekindled his hope. After the fundraised for him, he successfully transplanted the cornea on February 23. The operation was very successful.

After the operation, he still needs to go to hospital follow-up visits every day. The doctor also believes that he is recovering well after the operation, and believes that his vision can slowly recover.
