Nur Qairina bt Subri, a 3-year-old girl from Langkawi, Kedah, has been in the hospital with her mother for more than a month, surviving only on oxygen. As long as the oxygen tube is unplugged for less than two hours, she requires oxygen support.

After much tossing and turning, the child was finally given the date of the operation. The parents are hopeful that the operation will go smoothly.

With the RM55,000 in medical expenses already raised, the worried parents turned their sadness into joy, and were even more grateful for the help from the general public, which gave their child the opportunity to undergo surgery to save her lives.

Nur Qairina bt Subri of Langkawi, Kedah, was born at 33 weeks after her mother's amniotic fluid ruptured unexpectedly. The baby required an emergency caesarean section and was immediately transferred to the incubator after birth.

The doctor discovered the baby had shortness of breath, wheezing, and cyanosis two weeks after birth. The exam revealed that she had Tetralogy of Fallot (TOF). She had to wait until her weighed 10 kg before undergoing surgery. However, her condition worsened in the last month, necessitating emergency surgery to save her life.
