‘Thank you everyone for the help, so that Baby Vyan Cey can tide over the difficulties of her life, and now finally our family is reunion.’

The baby Vyan Cey, who experienced many difficulties after birth. First was rescued by doctors for emergency treatment because of breathing difficulties after birth. Later, due to a serious heart disease, her life was again in danger. Fortunately, she was saved after an operation. Vyan Cey has now returned home to reunite with her family.

Wong Vyan Cey, who was born on 5 April 2021, had difficulty breathing in two hours after she was born. The doctor saves her immediately. After that, she was sent to the ICU for medication and oxygen. However, her condition still no improvement in six days later. after a detailed check up by the doctor, she was diagnosed with Total Anomalous Pulmonary Venous Return (TAPVR), which is a serious neonatal congenital heart disease and must undergo surgery immediately, otherwise she will lose her life at any time.

The parent uses their savings and borrows money from relatives and friends which they could only afford RM60,000. The remaining balance is RM85,000. After launched the fundraising campaign by One Hope Charity, the medical fund was successfully raised in a short time.

As Vyan Cey’s condition was an emergency, she was immediately pushed into the operation room. Fortunately, Vyan Cey’s operation was successful, and she required to stay in the hospital temporarily for observation after the operation.

Vyan Cey recovered very well after the operation. On 3 May 2021, the doctor had discharged her to go home. Vyan Cey is two months old now and she is growing up in a healthy surrounding under the love of her family.
