15-year-old Tan Yong Hong has no chance to receive education after being diagnosed with cancer at the age of 7. At the age of 15, he has never attended school. However, he tried to use the limited vocabulary he knows to thank the generous donors for helping him.

Yong Hong is currently receiving treatment in Singapore but his condition is unstable. He needs the blessings and strength from the public to defeat the cancer.

Yong Hong has won the battle against cancer twice, but this time, the cancer recurred after he was contracted Covid-19, and the cancer cells also spread to the brain. He was supposed to undergo CAR-T therapy but due to the severe, complex, and complicated condition, the medical team needs to formulate another medical plan for him.

Yong Hong is being accompanied by his parents. Besides receiving treatment, he also needs to undergo blood tests, observation, and other medical procedures. Although it is not something easy for him, but Yong Hong is not afraid at all. He has strong will to fight against cancer.

One Hope Charity recently launched a fundraising to raise S$274,000 (equivalent to RM850,000) for the first phase of his medical treatment and living expenses. His experience has received attention from people from all over the world and donations came pouring in. The RM850,000 has been successfully raised. Yong Hong’s family is very grateful to all well-wishers, so that he can continue with his treatment.

One Hope Charity also appeals to all kind-hearted individuals to continue pray for Yong Hong, so that he can recover quickly.
