“Thank you everyone for helping Jing Ni get out of the silent world. Although Jing Ni was born with hearing impairment, but she is a lucky child. With your help and encouragement, Jing Ni has the opportunity to grow up in a world with sounds around her.”

Six-year-old Tin Jing Ni was diagnosed with binaural hearing loss at the age of two. At the age of three, she had a cochlear implant in her right ear that had no hearing ability at all, and she wore a hearing aid in her left ear then.

And now, the hearing ability in her left ear left only 20%, and the doctor has also determined that she is suitable for another cochlear implantation. The RM53,000 for her cochlear implantation surgery has been successfully raised, so the fundraising will be stopped with immediate effect. Jing Ni’s cochlear implantation surgery is scheduled on 30 June.

Her parents are very grateful for the donations from the public, which not only helped Jing Ni to gain her hearing ability but also to help her to grow up healthily in a world with sounds around her.
