Tin Jing Ni, a 6-year-old from Kuala Lumpur, underwent successful cochlear implant surgery on June 30. She formally began using the implant on July 15. She is gradually becoming accustomed to the sound and will soon embark on a new learning adventure and hear lovely voices.

Jing Ni had a cochlear implant implanted in her right ear because she had hearing loss since birth. Her left ear has only about 20% hearing, and the doctor has decided that a cochlear implant is necessary. The surgery was a success because sufficient funds were raised. Jin Ni intends to start elementary school the following year. She has regained her previous cheerful and lively personality and is getting ready for a new beginning.

In order for their daughter to undergo cochlear implant surgery and once more enjoy the wonderful music of the world, father Joseph Tin (39 years old) and mother Bobo Lee(38 years old) hope that their children can lead a normal life. They are extremely appreciative of the donations from the public.
