"I made it, and I want to thank everyone for saving my life."

Venkatasubbarow A/L Narayanan, 69, had surgery to extend his life after suffering from severe heart blockage. The doctor told him that he was lucky to have had the surgery earlier because he might not have survived.

Venkatasubbarow, an education commissioner of the Consumers Association of Penang for 40 years, stressed that he will use himself as an example in the future to improve people's awareness of diet and educate people on the importance of taking care of their own health.

He admitted that he enjoys his job a lot. He not only leads a healthy lifestyle for others, but he also raises public awareness of consumer issues and conducts publicity campaigns throughout Malaysia. He is now on sick leave for two weeks to rest at home and then adjust his pace of life as the situation dictates.

He is grateful for the generous public who helped him save his life by raising RM35,000 for medical expenses. He also promises to donate to charity as much as he can in the future to help others in need. He promised to help promote ONE HOPE CHARITY's various assistance in the hopes that more people will benefit from them.
