Urgent Fundraising – Muhd Ayden Affan & Akid Muqri (Heart Disease)

描述
The two-month-old infant has a severe and complex heart condition, making surgery essential before he can be discharged from the hospital. The nine-year-old boy requires an esophageal hernia repair surgery before he can undergo his final heart surgery. Both sets of parents, with limited income, are pleading for public donations to ensure their children can undergo surgery within the crucial window of time.
【Case 1: Two-month-old baby diagnosed with a heart defect, relying on oxygen assistance, needs surgery to survive】
Two-month-old Muhammad Ayden Affan bin Fairul Irwan from Gurun, Kedah, was diagnosed with anal atresia after birth and was referred to the central hospital for abdominal surgery to place a colostomy for bowel movements. During post-surgery observation, doctors noticed a sudden drop in the baby's blood oxygen levels and diagnosed a congenital heart defect.
Doctors attempted to wean him off oxygen, but it was unsuccessful. The baby cannot breathe independently and urgently needs surgery to survive.
According to medical reports, in addition to anal atresia, the baby has hypothyroidism and several critical heart conditions: ventricular septal defect (VSD), atrial septal defect (ASD), and patent ductus arteriosus (PDA). Immediate surgery is required to prevent heart failure and pulmonary hypertension.
The father, Fairul Irwan bin Abu Seman (42), is a tanker truck driver earning up to RM2000. However, since the birth of his child, he has frequently been in and out of the hospital and has been reassigned to an office job with a base salary of RM1500, without extra allowances and requiring unpaid leave.
The mother, Aidawati bt Ishak (41), is a housewife. The couple has four children, aged between two months and 19 years.
【Case 2: Nine-year-old boy requires immediate surgery for a diaphragmatic issue before undergoing a crucial heart surgery】
"We initially thought we were ready to proceed with his final heart surgery. However, doctors recently informed us that Akid Muqri needs this surgery first, or he cannot undergo the heart surgery due to concerns that the diaphragmatic issue may affect his heart."
Akid Muqri bin Shazwan from Johor Bahru was scheduled for heart surgery when doctors discovered a congenital diaphragmatic defect, a hiatus hernia, causing his stomach to be pulled into the chest cavity.
Nine-year-old Akid Muqri urgently needs surgery to repair the hiatus hernia before proceeding with his final heart surgery, a Rastelli procedure. His heart surgery has already been delayed for four years.
Despite the attentive care from his parents, his complex heart condition still causes inadequate oxygen supply, leading to shortness of breath and cyanosis of his lips and fingers.
His father, Shazwan (37), an industrial hygiene and safety officer at a construction site, and his mother, Noor Fadzlin (36), a housewife, cannot afford the additional cost of the hiatus hernia repair surgery and have once again turned to our foundation for help.
After a home visit assessment, ONE HOPE CHARITY decided to assist in raising the necessary medical funds. The family agreed to entrust the fundraising to ONE HOPE CHARITY, which will also collect the donations. ONE HOPE CHARITY will allocate RM5,000 from the 'Emergency Medical Reserve Fund.'
