The 3 months old baby girl Inara who was still under monitoring after her 1st heart surgery is required to undergo the 2nd time heart surgery urgently due to lung congested.
Baby Inara born on 29th May and found diagnosed with Ventricular Septal Defect (VSD), Atrial Septal Defect (ASD) and Coarctation of the Aorta (CoA) since birth. Due to the financial concern, she was previously queuing for surgery arrangement and under Prostaglandin inhibitor daily which cost RM 2000/ inhibitor.
Due to the complication on her little heart, she was advised to send to private specialist for immediate surgery on beginning of Aug. One Hope had helped to raise the medical funds on 8th Aug while Inara was 2 months old and under monitoring in ICU. The parent was asked for RM 45,000 in order Inara undergo the 1st stage Blalock-Taussig (BT)
With the overwhelming respond and attention from public, we have successfully raised up the required fund within 2days time. Inara was under monitoring in ICU after the surgery on 11th Aug.
She was progressing well after surgery and managed to breathe on her own after removed the breathing tube on 18th Aug. unfortunately, she was found to have lung congested on 21st Aug and again required the support of breathing tubes.
Due to the complication and urgency, she is required for immediate Pulmonary Artery Banding (PAB) surgical therapy to reduce pulmonary artery pressure and excess pulmonary blood flow into the lungs. The full surgery cost RM 75,000.
Baby Inara came from Prai Taman Kimsar, her father Hanif (27years old, Printing Machine Maintainer, monthly income RM 3,000), mother Azian (27years old, housewife) and a 2 years old elder brother.
The first fundraising and surgery was completed successfully however due to the unforeseen complication, One Hope had decided to raise the medical fund on the 2nd surgery of baby Inara and hope we can get the support from all the enthusiastic public.
